Schnecksville Fire Co. cooking last breakfast until this fall
Schnecksville Fire Co. will have its last all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast of this season from 8 a.m.to 1 p.m. April 24.
Menu includes toast creamed chipped beef, home fries, pancakes, eggs, ham, sausage and beverages.
The next breakfast is scheduled for Sept. 25.
Monthly flea markets resume in September.

Northern Valley EMS, will have soup, sandwiches, and baked goods for sale at the social hall, 2375 Levans Road, on Primary Election Day, April 26.

Schnecksville Grange will have a Primary Election Day bake sale April 26. Even if this is not your polling site, you are invited to come to the bake sale. The sale will run until sold out.

Union Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, is participating in Hunger Walk 2016 on May 1 to benefit the Northern Lehigh Food Bank.
Registration begins 1:45 p.m. The walk starts at 2 p.m.
The walk begins at the food bank in Emerald and proceeds along the Rail Trail to Slatedale, and then returns, for a total of 2 miles.

Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, reports the recent benefit for the Miller-Keystone Blood Center yielded 42 pints of blood and a $500 donation from a soup sale coordinated with the blood drive. Thirty-six people signed up ahead of time, and 12 additional ones walked in to donate blood on the day of the event.
The goal of 23 pints was exceeded by far. In fact, the drive was so successful, all the collection materials brought by Miller-Keystone were used.

St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station, is sponsoring a golf tournament May 7 at Iron Lakes Country Club.
Registration begins at noon. The event starts at 1 p.m. The day ends with a buffet dinner and an awards ceremony.
Prizes will be offered, including a car for a hole-in-one sponsored by Eberhardt Motors.
