Joseph J. Fugazzoto

Joseph J. Fugazzotto, 35, of Allentown, died on April 11, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of Dr. Pasquale J. and Deborah A. (Berner) Fugazzoto of Allentown.

A 1999 graduate of Parkland High School, his passion was cooking and he was a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, N.Y.

He also attended culinary classes at the Italian Culinary Institute in Italy.

His other passion was organic gardening and he owned and operated his own organic garden “Drop of Sun.”

He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Orefield.

He enjoyed four wheeling, traveling, fishing or a good cigar.

He will be truly missed by all but especially by his best friend, his father and his Labrador Retriever, Stella.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Florence Berner of Zionsville; brothers Michael and his wife, Cheri, of Texas, John of South Carolina, Vincent and his wife, Melissa, of New Tripoli, Robert of Neffs, Jacob and his wife, Heather, of Kunkletown, Jared, of Allentown; sisters Linda and her husband Gerard Storck of Zionsville, Ann Marie and her husband, John Newton, of Zionsville, Catherine and her husband, David Spohn of Trexlertown and Patricia and her husband, Antonio Barini, of South Carolina; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
