WSE students present concert April 20

The first concert for the kindergarten through second grade classes at Western Salisbury Elementary School will be 2 p.m. April 20 in the school gym.

Salisbury High School and middle school will have an early dismissal 12:15 p.m. April 15.

The PSSAs are still here. All students in grades three to eight at Salisbury Middle School, WSE and Harry S Truman Elementary School will continue with the math portion next week. SMS and HST will complete the math section April 19 to 21, while WSE will complete the math section April 18 to 20. The science PSSA is only taken by the fourth and eighth grade students. SMS and HST will take this April 26 and 27 while WSE will take it April 25 and 26.

The WSE PTA is having a general meeting and ice cream social 6 to 8 p.m. April 26 in the school gym.

Coffee and conversation with Salisbury’s Superintendent Dr. Randy Ziegenfuss and Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning Lynn Fuini-Hetten will be held 9 to 10 a.m. April 20 at the administration building. RSVP if attending to Mary Bishop at 610-797-2062, ext. 1000.

The Salisbury School District tech department will hold a community workshop 9 to 10 a.m. April 19. “Email Organization 101” is designed to teach how to make folders, use filters and other tricks to help manage and organize email accounts.

A curriculum and technology meeting will be held 7 p.m. April 25 at Salisbury Middle School.

Salisbury Township branch pickup will be held April 18 through 22. Residents need to tie branches in twine and put out at the curb.

The Devonshire drop-off center is open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 16 and 19. The center is open on the first and third Tuesday and Saturday of the month.
