Christ’s Church at Lowill, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, New Tripoli, will host a penny party April 15 in the social hall.

Doors open 5:30 p.m.

There will be a wide variety of items to bid on starting at 7 p.m.

Bring pennies, nickels, dimes quarters or exchange bills for pennies at the door.

Refreshments will be available.

Lehigh Valley Zoo, 5150 Game Preserve Road, Schnecksville, will host Steph Stronsick for discussion on bats during Bat Appreciation Day April 17.

After the discussion, guests will be treated to a special release of a rehabilitated bat.

The Zoo will be hosting a Party for the Planet April 23.

This year’s party combines Earth Day, World Penguin Day, and Tuxster’s birthday.

Activities include music, African Penguin painting demonstrations, RAD Center Conservation Conversations, Arbor Day tree planting dedication, and Smart Fun with the Zoo’s mascot, Tuxster.
