Crime victims

Crime Victims Council of the Lehigh Valley’s annual Victims’ Rights Vigil will take place 6 p.m. April 14 at the Memorial Tree of Life Grove, 3256 Chestnut Drive, South Whitehall. Rain date is 6 p.m. April 19.

Crime Victims Council will commemorate the theme, “Serving victims, building trust, restoring hope,” by remembering and honoring crime victims.

The annual Allied Professional Awards for Lehigh and Northampton counties will be presented to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to victims’ services.

This free event is open to the public.

Haas family

The Lehigh Furnace Union Sunday School, 4476 Main St., Slatedale, will have a special country service with the Haas Family 9:30 a.m. April 17.
