Union Lutheran Church, Schnecksville to host Italian dining-to-music night
Union Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, will host an all-you-can-eat buffet Italian dinner 4-7 p.m. April 9.
Menu includes chicken marsala, baked ziti, white vegetable ziti, pasta with choice of sauce, salad, cake and beverages.
The Lehigh Valley Italian Band will play while guests enjoy their meals.
Proceeds from the dinner will benefit church youth.
Learning Ark Christian Pre-School of Union Lutheran is conducting a pierogie and hoagie sale.
Uncle Paul’s pierogies, individually flash frozen, are made locally. Choose from potato and cheese, weinkraut or apple.
A variety of hoagies and sandwiches are available.
Orders are due by April 14. Pick up will be 4-6 p.m. April 28.

Northern Valley EMS, NOVA, 2375 Levans Road, will have a spring bazaar with themed baskets 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 9.
Lunch and homemade baked goods will be available, and there will be door prizes.

Schnecksville Grange has scheduled its flea market and bake sale for 8 a.m.-2 p.m. April 16 in the hall at 5322 Route 873.
The kitchen will be open for light lunch with barbecues, soup and hot dogs. Come earlier for breakfast sandwiches.
Vendors will be both up- and downstairs with collectibles, books, clothing, household goods and attic treasures.

The youth of St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Schnecksville, will conduct the worship service 10:15 a.m. April 10.
The Worship and Music Committee is sponsoring a clothing drive through April 24.
Items should be placed in well-tied plastic bags.
Fashion Republic Co. processes the clothes, shoes and household goods, then ships them to people in need around the world.
The group is looking for wearable clothing for men, women and children; accessories such as gloves, scarves, and backpacks; fabric household items; and toys.

Pastorius Home Association, an American-German educational and cultural society, invites people from the Lehigh Valley to the annual Winter Vanquish Festival 3-7 p.m. April 17 at the Germansville Fire Company, Memorial Road, Germansville.
This is a yearly music, sing-along, dance and food event to celebrate the arrival of spring.
The hot meal includes Karl Ehmer Wursts and bottomless beverages.
Walt Groller and his band will provide festive music for the occasion.
Numerous door prizes will be given out. There is a fee to attend.
