Salisbury’s Brooke Rogers pitched all seven innings and scattered seven hits while striking out three and walking none.
Emily Batman went 2 for 5 with three RBIs in the game. Sarah Reilly and Lilia Crouthamel both went 2 for 4. Peyton Stauffer had two RBIs for Salisbury (1-2 overall, 1-2 Colonial League).

The Rough Riders used a three-run seventh inning for a comeback win over the Falcons, 6-5.
Dani Pluchinsky knocked in the game-winning run for Catasauqua, while teammate Hanna Edwards went 4 for 4 with five stolen bases in the game.
Brooke Rogers went 2 for 4 and scored a run for Salisbury. Anna Bishop knocked in a pair of runs for Salisbury, while teammates Lilia Crouthamel, Rachel Costantini, Peyton Stauffer and Morgan Goletz drove in one run each.

The Knights’ Arielle Heisler hit a game-winning single to place Cindy Antonioli in the first extra inning. Antonioli doubled to start the rally.
Salisbury’s Emily Batman went 2 for 4 while Lilia Crouthamel was 1 for 3 with a triple. Brooke Rogers went 1 for 3 with an RBI.

The Falcons beat the Green Knights 1-0 in eight innings.
Pitchers Chad Cooperman and Andrew Sukanick combined for the shut out. Cooperman earned the win by going seven innings and allowing just two hits while striking out 12 and walking two. Sukanick pitched the eighth for the save.
Salisbury’s Nick Sikora scored the game’s only run after drawing a walk to lead off the eighth. He moved around the bases on a walk by Taylor Linn and a sacrifice bunt by Eric Schware. Sikora scored on Colin Wagner’s two-out single.

The Falcons dropped both sides of a season-opening track meet at Wilson.
Salisbury boys lost 114.5-35.5 to Wilson and 88-56 to Notre Dame (Green Pond). The Salisbury girls teams lost 92-58 to Wilson and fell 90-60 to Notre Dame.
The Falcons’ John (Jack) Reichenbach and Tevon Weber each won two individual events. Reichenbach took first place in the long jump and triple jump. Weber won discus and javelin.
In girls events, Lindsay Bauer got first place in the long and triple jumps while taking second in the 100-meter dash.
Single event winners for Salisbury included Tyler Keller (boys pole vault) and Ashley Galantini (girls shot put), along with Kelly Gardus and Kaitlynn Rutt, who tied for first place in pole vault.
