SALISBURY POLICE
An employee of Arelis Italian Restaurant, 1798 Broadway, reported 9 p.m. March 31, an unknown actor removed a wallet from her purse.
Police were called to Devonshire Park, 2815 Bevin Dr., 8:17 p.m. March 25 for a report of kids in the park after hours. Upon arrival, police noticed an odor of marijuana. A 16-year-old male, of Allentown, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and being in the park after hours. Four other juveniles were charged with being in the park after hours.
A male and female, of Bath, were observed putting clothing into a backpack without paying for the items at BonTon, 3300 Lehigh St., 6:48 p.m. March 25. Store personnel stopped the two actors in the parking lot and proceeded to go through the backpack when the male and female jumped into the car and sped away. The total amount of clothing removed was $1,300. This incident is currently under investigation.
An unknown actor entered an unlocked garage in the 1000 block of Newgate Drive and removed a blue 2010 Mercedes ML350. The burglary was reported 9:16 a.m. March 27. The incident was referred to the auto theft task force.
A ladies Trax bike was stolen from an unlocked garage at a home in the 2100 block of Overhill Road and reported 7:41 a.m. March 29.
A resident in the 300 block of Mountain Park Road told police a box of blasting caps was found in the barn 1:32 p.m. March 28. Police called the bomb squad who exploded the caps.
A dark gray 2005 Acura was removed from a home in the 1700 block of Victoria Circle and reported to police 7:11 a.m. March 29. The vehicle was unlocked and had the keys in it as well as a laptop.
Luis Rivera, 45, of Salisbury, was charged with criminal mischief and harassment following an alleged incident in the 1700 block of Maumee Avenue 2 p.m. March 29.
An unknown actor removed items including an Acer Chromebook valued at $350, from a vehicle parked in the 1900 block of Duffield Court. The theft was reported 5:50 p.m. March 30. There were no signs of forced entry.
