The annual Write Stuff Writer’s Conference hosted by the Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group will be held in Bethlehem through April 9. This three day conference offers a full-day workshop, half-day workshops and a day full of hour-long sessions. There is much here to learn about the craft of writing and the business of writing. Yoga fundraiser to benefit international refugees 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Unity of the Lehigh Valley, 26 N. Third St., Emmaus. There is a flat rate for one or all classes. All donations will go to Lutheran Children and Family Services to support efforts to aid international refugees in the Lehigh Valley. Bring a yoga mat and/or props. Emmaus High School Mini-THON is looking for participants to stand for 12 hours to show cancer it will not win. Students and members of the public are welcome to participate. For a small charge, participants will receive a bracelet, unlimited food for the full 12 hours and be able to participate in games like cake walk, giant twister, bowling, miniature golf and more. There are activities for the full 12 hours. Families will be in attendance to share stories of their children battling cancer. Dr. Kelly Kerney, executive director of the Center in Dementia Care for Phoebe Minstries, presents a seminar on dementia 11:15 a.m. at Hope United Church of Christ, 1031 Flexer Ave., Allentown. Kerney will discuss what dementia is and helpful ways to prevent it in addition to help for caregivers.

Susan Dietrich, LCSW, CMFSW, will present a relationships seminar at Hope United Church of Christ, 1031 Flexer Ave., Allentown. Dietrich is known for her work with children who have suffered trauma and abuse. She also works with adults who have traumatic backgrounds. There will be a luncheon buffet 11:15 to 11:45 a.m. and the seminar will be presented 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
