Opening Day for the Emmaus Farmers’ Market 2016 weekly season is April 3.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held in partnership with Emmaus Main Street Partners at 10 a.m. and include members of the Emmaus Farmers’ Market Board of Directors as well as representatives from the Market’s sponsor, National Penn Bank.
The Market, 235 Chestnut St., Emmaus, will be open 10 a.m.-2 p.m. every Sunday through December (except for Christmas).
Opening Day will feature face-painting, music and special guest House of Metalworks, an Emmaus-based business that makes handmade, eco-friendly jewelry.
The Emmaus Farmers’ Market, or “The Market” as it is known throughout the Lehigh Valley, is opening its 14th year. The Market will feature more than 25 vendors that include seasonal produce, meats, breads and flowers each week.
