State Police Beat

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Julia Ann Tomasko, 54, of 1151 Catasauqua, Allentown, was stopped for an alleged traffic violation 1:22 a.m. Feb. 28 on Kernsville Road at Route 309, South Whitehall Township.

Police allege upon making contact with Tomasko, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and multiple other signs of impairment were observed.

Tomasko then performed standard field sobriety tests, which allegedly indicated multiple signs of impairment, police say.

She was taken into custody for driving under the influence.

Charges were filed against Tomasko in district court.

William Lloyd Longeneker, 40, of 1080 Old Philly Pike, Kempton, was stopped for an alleged traffic violation 11:05-11:30 p.m. Feb. 28 on Route 100 North at I-78 West, Upper Macungie Township, say State Police Troop M Fogelsville.

Police allege Longeneker was driving under the influence.

Charges were filed with District Judge Michael Faulkner, Upper Macungie Township.

State Police Troop M Bethlehem say a 51-year-old resident of the 7600 block of Furnace Road, Washington Township, reported to police his rear basement window was broken and bottles of alcohol were taken sometime between 7:30 p.m. to 10:50 p.m. Feb. 24.

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say a 48-year-old woman reported on Feb. 29 four chlorpromazine 50 mg pills were stolen sometime between Feb. 27-28 from a client in a group home at 7160 Flint Hill Road, Lynn Township.

Police say at 7:30 a.m. March 1 another chlorpromazine 50 mg pill was discovered missing from the same client’s blister pack.

John Decker reported to police his unlocked vehicle was entered at 1 a.m. March 19 while it was parked at 10495 Old Route 22, Weisenberg Township,

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say nothing was taken.
