The Woman’s Club of Whitehall has chosen Nathaly Gonzalez as its Girl of the Month for February.

A daughter of Vesenia Vargas of Whitehall, she is a senior at Whitehall High School. She has earned honor roll or high honor roll for all marking periods during high school.

Gonzalez is a member of SERVE Club, Leo Club, Student Forum and Human Rights Club. She has participated in the school musical.

She has been named to National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Spanish National Honor Society and Science National Honor Society.

Gonzalez is a volunteer for Northampton Area Food Bank, Camelot for Kids, Boys and Girls Clubs, Lehigh Valley Hospital, Lehigh Valley Zoo and The Sanctuary at Haafsville. She is also a tutor at the middle school.

She works part time at Saladworks and Chili’s.

After high school graduation, Gonzalez will attend Drexel University to major in biology and minor in psychology. She plans to then attend medical school and become a pediatrician.
