Symphony Executive Director named 2016 ‘Woman of Influence’

Allentown Symphony Association Executive Director Sheila Evans has been named a winner of the 2016 “Women of Influence” awards.

The 25 “Women of Influence” award recipients will be recognized at an awards luncheon ceremony May 11 at Cedar Crest College, Allentown.

The “Women of influence” awards honors women business leaders for their contributions to their companies, industries and communities. Winners were selected by an independent panel of judges for their reputation based on experience, integrity and leadership and proven track record of accomplishments.

There are three special recognition category award recipients.

The “Lifetime Achievement” award will be presented to a woman who has committed her life to making the Greater Lehigh Valley a great place to work and live.

The “Woman to Watch” award will be presented to a woman 30 or younger who is stepping up to help shape the Greater Lehigh Valley of tomorrow.

The “Community Achievement” award will be presented to a woman who has dedicated a significant amount of time, energy and expertise to helping Greater Lehigh Valley community organization thrive.

The awards program, produced by Lehigh Valley Business, is presented by Cedar Crest College and sponsored Highmark Blue Shield, Crystal Signatures and FGV Media.
