A resident reported an unknown actor removed a firearm from a locked vehicle parked in the 900 block of East Susquehanna Street 11:42 p.m. March 4. There was no damage to the vehicle. The firearm is valued at $475.

A resident in the 900 block of East Montgomery Street reported 8 a.m. March 4 an unknown actor removed a radar detector valued at $70 and $10 of loose change from an unlocked vehicle on the property.

An 80-year-old resident in the 1200 block of Lehigh Avenue was reported missing from his home 8:39 p.m. March 10. A search party looked for the resident who was said to have dementia or early Alzheimer’s through the evening. As a new search party was being formed 8 a.m. March 11, a driver notified police after seeing a man lying down along Susquehanna Street. He was taken to St. Luke’s Health Network for evaluation.

Salisbury police were called to the western side of Salisbury along Buckingham Drive around 2 p.m. March 12 for a behavioral emergency. Police say a man in his 20s is now being evaluated. Police were on scene for approximately four hours and the situation ended peacefully.

An unknown actor used a resident’s credit card number to charge $35 worth of merchandise from online retailer MoonTrail and attempted to charge an additional $346 of merchandise. The purchase was denied. The resident, who lives in the 1900 block of Duffield Court, reported the incident 1 p.m. March 4.

Afortunado Torres, 27, of Allentown, was charged with retail theft and providing false identification 6:21 p.m. March 4 after allegedly removing a pair of black Isotoner gloves from Bon-Ton, 3300 Lehigh St., without paying for the merchandise. The gloves were valued at $31.99. After being apprehended, Torres allegedly provided a false name. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.

A 2015 black Nissan Altima, belonging to Enterprise Leasing Company of Philadelphia, was stolen from a residence in the 1200 block of East Emmaus Avenue 11 a.m. March 4. The vehicle was unlocked and the key was in the center console. The vehicle was reportedly in a minor hit and run accident March 4.

A stolen 2015 black Nissan Altima was recovered at Taco Bell, 3380 Lehigh St. after Salisbury police noticed inspection stickers on the Altima belonging to another vehicle. Kiano Santiago, 19, of Allentown, was charged with allegedly receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of a motorized vehicle, driving under suspension and driving with a registration issued to a different vehicle 5:43 p.m. March 4. Angel Soliz, 18, of Allentown, was charged with allegedly receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of a motorized vehicle, driving without a license and driving with a registration issued to a different vehicle. Both were taken to Central Booking for processing.

quare Apartments, 1709 S. Albert St., reported 9:32 p.m. March 9 an unknown actor entered the apartment through an open bedroom window and removed an HP laptop and miscellaneous jewelry. The total loss is approximately $620.

An elderly couple mistakenly backed their car into a home in the 3000 block of Cedar Lane 11:33 a.m. March 10. There were no injuries. The property and vehicle were damaged.
