Mildred I. (Schleicher) Eichner, 95, of Macungie, died March 11, 2016, in her home. She was the wife of the late Charles Eichner, Jr. Born in Slatington, she was the daughter of the late Amandus and Esther (Kressley) Schleicher.

She is survived by a son, Ronald C., Sr. and his wife, Nadine, of Macungie; daughters, Lois J. and her husband Russell Weber, of Northampton, Janet E. Cherrington, of Florida; brother, Earl Schleicher, of Orefield; sisters, Evelyn Rushatz, of Allentown, Elaine Long, of Northampton, Jean Stevens, of Allentown and Carol Bright, of Northampton; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four grand-dogs; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings, Clifford, Fred, Marvin, and Clayton Schleicher, Marion Wexler, Leola Heintzelman and Ellen Steier.

Services will be held 11 a.m. March 16 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville. Family and friends may pay their respects 9:30 to 11 a.m. March 16 in the funeral home.
