Area churches having Easter services and egg hunts
St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1028 Church St., Fogelsville, will be having egg coloring and a pizza party for youth of all ages and anyone young at heart 6 p.m. March 18.
St. John’s Holy Week and Easter services include a Palm Sunday communion service at 10:30 a.m. March 20; Maundy Thursday communion service 7 p.m. March 24; Good Friday service at 7 p.m. March 25 and Easter Sunday Communion services 7 and 10:30 a.m. March 27.

St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fogelsville, will be hosting their annual community Easter egg hunt for infants and children through sixth grade March 19 at Upper Macungie Park, Route 100.
Rain date is March 26.
Registration begins 9:15 a.m. Egg hunts start 10 a.m.
Kids who are in seventh grade and older are welcome to volunteer as helpers for the egg hunt.

St. John’s UCC, 1027 Church St., Fogelsville, is having a Maundy Thursday service 7:30 p.m. March 24.
The Easter Sunday service with communion will be 10:30 a.m. March 27.
St. John’s will be hosting Life Line, which will perform life-saving screenings at reasonable costs 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. April 1.

Ziegels Union Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville, will be hosting its annual Easter egg hunt for children ages 1 through sixth grade 2 p.m. March 19.
All are welcome to come out for refreshments in the grove following the egg hunt.

Earn volunteer hours for giving opinions on the library’s summer reading program for teens, library events, books and other topics.
