Katherine and Teribio Cuono of West Bangor, Washington Township, Northampton County, celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary Dec. 26, 2015, with their family at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, Pen Argyl.
After the Mass, the Rev. Monsignor Vincent P. York and Deacon Frank A. Elkert officiated at the wedding vow renewal ceremony. Surrounded by their family, Katherine and Teribio repeated their promises of love and fidelity to “love and honor each other for the rest of their life.”
The couple was married Dec. 26, 1948, in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Roseto, by the late Rev. Joseph Ducci.
Mrs. Cuono retired from the garment industry in 1988. Mr. Cuono retired in 1987 after 36 years in the garment industry.
The Cuonos are longtime members of St. Roch’s Catholic Church, West Bangor.
They have three daughters: Priscilla, wife of Leon deLeon of Lower Saucon Township; Briedella, wife of Dennis Fehr of Pen Argyl; and Lori, wife of Edward Imparato of Cheyney.
They have three granddaughters: Myra Fehr; Krista, wife of Jason Evans, and Tresa Imparato; one grandson: Edward Imparato Jr.; and six great-grandchildren: Brian, William, Katherine, James, Ella and Madelynn Evans.
