Emmaus High School took four teams to the regional Programming Challenge 1.0 recently hosted by the Colonial Intermediate Unit 20, Carbon Intermediate Unit 21 and DeSales University.
A team of Emmaus students placed first in the event. The team includes: Sameer Lal, Jake Gilbert, Roland Nowack, and Steve Dimitriadis.
The other Emmaus teams finished fifth, sixth and seventh.
Spring competitions are scheduled at Widener University, the University of Scranton, Rowan University, and Bloomsburg University.
The final competition will be the American Computer Science League All-Star contest to be held in Nashua, NH.
