The Education Committee of the GFWC PA Woman’s Club of Emmaus recently honored Aubrey Mitchell as the club’s Girl of the Month for November 2015.

Mitchell was recognized for her achievements in art.

A senior at Emmaus High School, Mitchell, of Lower Macungie Township, is president of the art club and the Spanish club, historian of the library club and a member of National Honor Society and Hornet Ambassadors. Mitchell was named health student of the year when she was a sophomore.

Mitchell also studies karate.

“I want to be a secondary level history teacher,” Mitchell said. “ I will be going to college after I graduate from Emmaus High School.”

She is a daughter of Marc and Gwen Mitchell.
