Kyree Alan Tomlinson-Ricks, 20, of Allentown, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of marijuana after a traffic stop on Route 222 southbound south of Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:48 p.m. Feb. 20. According to police, Devon Aaron Sherman Dunston, 20, a passenger in the vehicle allegedly had a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at the time of the stop. Two bottles of liquor were found in the vehicle as well, police said. Elandus Faye Boynton, 20, of Allentown, was allegedly a passenger in the vehicle, according to police. Charges were filed in District Court 31-3-02.

Reported by a resident in the 1900 block of Strathmore Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors entered an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway and used a spare key to remove a vehicle described as a 2003 blue gray Lexus SUV overnight Feb. 20. Reported by a resident in the 1000 block of Village Round, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors broke the rear window of a vehicle and removed a black plastic container with various cleaning equipment between 11 p.m. Feb. 19 and 11 a.m. Feb. 20.

A theft from a vehicle between 8 p.m. Feb. 20 and 7:30 a.m. Feb. 21 was reported by a resident of Lone Lane, Lower Milford Township. The investigation continues.

Reported by a resident in the 2700 block of Terrwood Drive East, Lower Macungie Township, three rings went missing sometime between Jan. 6 and Feb. 6. The resident told police her doors were locked and she had not noticed any signs of forced entry during that time. The investigation continues.

Reported by a resident in the 3500 block of Vista Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors used the resident’s Home Depot gift card information to purchase items online 12:50 p.m. Feb. 8.

A 17-year-old female, of Alburtis, an 18-year-old female, of Emmaus, an 17-year-old female, of Macungie, a 16-year-old female, of Slatington and a 17-year-old male, of Germansville, were found to be under the influence of alcohol and under the age of 21 when police responded to reports of a drinking party in the 6600 block of Pioneer Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 10:32 p.m. Jan. 30. The 17-year-old female, of Alburtis, also was found to be in possession of marijuana and a glass smoking pipe. Court proceedings are pending, according to police.

A Coopersburg youth escaped injury when his car hit a ditch, became airborne and struck a fence in a one-vehicle accident Feb. 11. According to state police, a 16-year-old male was traveling east on Church View Road about 312 feet west of Hoffman Lane about 5:28 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle while speeding.

The vehicle went off the road and struck a ditch, continued into a downhill slide and drove off an embankment, crossing over an adjacent roadway. The car became airborne and landed on Hoffman Lane, all four tires on the ground. The vehicle continued traveling southeast, striking a wooden fence, before coming to a rest in a field.

The driver was cited for speeding. The property owner was notified of significant damage to the fence.
