The Friends of the Macungie Institute are sponsoring an American Treasure Tram Tour bus trip to Oaks May 3. The trip includes a meal at Maggiano’s Little Italy Restaurant. For information, call 610-966-7830.

The Macungie Bears Swim Team will host a meet the team event noon to 2 p.m. April 2 at Emmaus High School Pool. Swimmers interested in joining the team are welcome to come and meet the team and coaches. Team registration will also be taken at this event.
There will be a free electronics recycling and document shredding day for Macungie and Alburtis borough residents only 9 a.m. to noon (or until the trucks are full) April 9 at Macungie Memorial Park. There is a fee for some items.
Zumba fitness classes are held 7:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at the Macungie Fire Company #1.
