Upper Macungie Township is offering a night with psychic Laurie Moore 7-8:30 p.m. March 3.

A hunter/trapper safety course will be offered 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. March 6.

Course materials include student manual, exam, patches and certification cards and current Hunter/Trapper Digest.

All participants must be 12 years old or older to attend and need to pass the course to obtain a Pennsylvania state hunting license.

The township will be hosting a Hippity Hoppity Show pby Giggle Magic and a Kidz-Rock dance party 6-8 p.m. March 11.

All events are at Independent Park Community Center, 150 Independent Road, Breinigsville.

Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Ave., South Whitehall, will be hosting its Senior Book Club to discuss the novel “The Boys in the Boat” by Daniel James Brown 3-4:30 p.m. on March 8 at Luther Crest Retirement Community, 800 Hausman Road, South Whitehall.

Toddler story time with stories, songs and games for children 18 months to 3 years old and their caregivers will be 10:30 a.m. March 9, 10, 11 and 16.

Preschool story time for children ages 3 to 5 years old and their caregivers will be 1 p.m. March 9.

The library is hosting a chocolate craziness tournament for kids in grades four through seven 11 a.m. March 12.

Come and play with chocolate and other candies at the tournament.

Dress in pajamas and bring a cuddly friend to hear nighttime stories at the library’s sleepy story time event 6 p.m. March 15.

Book Quest will meet to discuss the novel “The Secret Chord” by Geraldine Brooks between 7-8 p.m. March 15.

The library is offering an introductory hands-on look at the Internet and online searching, as well as creating and/or using email accounts at its Plugged into Tech Workshop 9 a.m. on March 16.

All these events are free and will be held at the library except the Senior Book Club.
