Kubinec nominated for LV Football Scholar Athlete

The 56th annual Lehigh Valley Chapter of the National Football Foundation Scholar Athlete Banquet will be held Sunday, March 6, beginning at 4:30 p.m. at the Northampton Community Center.

This year’s guest speaker is former Whitehall, Penn State and NFL player Matt Millen, who is now a television sports analyst.

Salisbury senior Alex Kubinec will represent the Falcons at the banquet. The 6-foot, 210-pound running back/linebacker ranks 27th out of 159 students. He is an honor roll student, member of the National Honor Society, and earned honorable mention all-conference honors. He participates in varsity baseball and is a member of the power lifting team. He volunteers with Toys for Tots, Arts Quest, the Victory House, and the Miracle League of the Lehigh Valley.
