State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Korey J. Henninger, 20, of Breinigsville, was driving a 1998 Ford F-250 pickup north on Independent Road, just north of Klines Mill Road, Weisenberg Township, 11:10 a.m. Jan. 26 when the truck’s right tire went into the snow along the east side of the road.

The truck came to a final rest on its roof in the center of the northbound lane facing south.

Henninger, who was wearing his seat belt, was extricated non-mechanically by members of the Upper Macungie Fire Department, police say.

He was charged with driving at an unsafe speed.

The pickup was removed by Getz Towing.

Troopers Bernardinucci, Kowalishen and Milkovits along with Upper Macungie Township police and Cetronia Ambulance Corps assisted at the scene.
