Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) is offering a comprehensive course in phlebotomy that includes 20 hours of Medical Terminology and 80 hours of Phlebotomy classroom-lab instruction.

For students interested in clinical certification, an additional 100 hours of on-the-job training is required.

Two evening courses are offered: one at LCCC’s main campus in Schnecksville that began Feb. 8, and the other at LCCC Tamaqua at the Morgan Center starting Feb. 23. Both are 6-9 p.m.

Additional costs, such as textbooks, materials fee and medical clearance or immunizations fees required by clinical locations, are the responsibility of the student.
