The program, presented by members of The Bonsai Society of the Lehigh Valley, will introduce bonsai, the culture of trees miniaturized and living in pots. Thursday Basket Weaving “Winter Cylinder Bucket” 9 a.m. to noon at Lehigh Valley Active Life, 1633 W. Elm St., Allentown. Led by Debra L. Zvanut. This cylinder shaped bucket basket is perfect for decorating in the winter, for Valentine’s Day or St. Patrick’s Day. Crafters will learn how to insert stakes into the 4-inch wooden base and finish with start-and-stop weaving with a swing handle. Choice of accent colors and seasonal decoration included.
