Upper Macungie Township police say a 32-year-old Allentown woman was charged in connection with an investigation into the fraudulent use of an Upper Macungie Township man’s credit cards.
According to a criminal complaint filed before District Judge Michael Faulkner, Upper Macungie, a 68-year-old male resident reported saw multiple fraudulent transactions on his credit card statement.
The purchases, from Dec. 15, 2015, were all made at Lehigh Valley businesses.
Police say an investigation was opened into the matter and detectivies viewed surveillance video of the woman allegedly making some of the purchases.
As detectives continued their investigation, they learned the man had hired two personal care aides to assist him in his home.
Police say one of those aides was idenitified as Nadine McAdams.
McAdams is charged with five counts of felony forgery, six counts of felony access devise fraud, receiving stolen property, and making unsworn falsification to authorities.
This case will be prosecuted by the Lehigh County District Attorney’s office.
