State Police Troop M Fogelsville say a 42-year-old Orefield resident reported several items including floor mats, hedge trimmers and the door to a dog cage were taken sometime between Jan. 20-22 from his property in the 3300 block of Weidasville Road, Lowhill Township.

Anyone with information about this theft is asked to contact state police at 610-395-1438.

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say an 18-year-old man from Lynn Township was stopped for allegedly having multiple traffic violations 8:17 p.m. on Jan. 11 on Route 309 at Decatur Street, New Tripoli.

Police alleged the man recently smoked marijuana and then drove his vehicle.

A glass smoking devise and grinding device contacting suspected marijuana was allegedly found inside the vehicle, police say.

This incident remains under investigation pending the results of a legally obtained blood draw.

Debra S. Biagi, 49, of Greenwich, Conn., was driving a 2013 Honda Crosstour when it hit a tree 1:39 a.m. Jan. 30 at 7996 Wertman Road, Lowhill Township, say State Police Troop M Fogelsville.

According to police, Biagi was traveling east on Wertman Road when her car traveled off the south shoulder of the road and struck the tree head-on.

The car came to final rest facing east with its front bumper against the tree, police say.

Police say the car sustained disabling damage to its front bumper, and towed from the scene by Hausers Towing.

Biagi who was wearing her seat belt, sustained a minor injury and was transported by Macungie EMS to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Biagi was charged with driving at an unsafe speed.
