Ayanna S. Kersey-McMullen, DO, MSPH, a physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) physician, has joined the staff of Good Shepherd Physician Group as staff physiatrist.

Dr. Kersey-McMullen sees patients at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital, Allentown, and Good Shepherd Physical Therapy - Bethlehem-Performing Arts Rehabilitation Center.

Kersey-McMullen received a medical degree from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey’s School of Osteopathic Medicine, Stratford, N.J. She received a master’s degree in Health Policy and Administration from the University of North Carolina School of Public Health, Chapel Hill, N.C.

She completed her residency in PM&R at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Baltimore, Md., and her osteopathic internship with St. Joseph’s Hospital-North Philadelphia Health System, Philadelphia. She is a 2015 recipient of the Hopkins Healer Award for excellence in patient care.
