Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) is providing trade skills training in noncredit classes on a rotational schedule during a semester at the main campus in Schnecksville, North Whitehall Township, or an off campus location.

“Welding I” teaches basic skills in Shielded Metal Arch Welding (Stick) on steel Tuesdays and Thursdays, through March 10.

“Welding II” continues with “out-of-position” instruction Tuesdays and Thursdays, March 15 through April 28.

The welding classes are held 6 - 9 p.m., Welder Training & Testing Institute (WTTI), Allentown.

Students are required to wear proper attire, which includes work boots, straight-leg jeans, long-sleeve shirt, safety glasses and welding gloves, jacket and helmet. Equipment can be purchased at WTTI. For prices, call 610-437-9720.

“Level II of Water Treatment Plant Operator” is held Tuesdays and Thursdays, March 8 through April 7, from 12:30 - 4 p.m. at LCCC’s main campus.
