Women’s Group meeting Feb. 3

The Feb. 3 meeting of the Ancient Oak Women’s group will be held 7:30 p.m. Feb. 3 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. It is craft night and the group will be making greeting cards. The women of the Ancient Oak development are welcome to join the fun. Come see what we are all about.

Winners of the holiday house decorating contest have been announced. First place is 1300 Oak Drive, second place is 6850 Linden Circle and third place is 7474 Woodbine Road. Congratulations to the winners and for everyone’s participation.

Julia Child’s “The French Chef” aired its first episode Feb. 11, 1963. To celebrate the 53rd anniversary of this show, the Lower Macungie Library is excited to welcome Linda Kenyon as she presents the one woman show “Julia Says, ‘Bon Appetit!’” by Clay Teunis 6 p.m. Feb. 11. An evening of food and jazz including appetizers, desserts and beverages will be celebrated at the Lower Macungie Library 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Feb. 20. Music will be provided by the Kutztown University Jazz Quartet. Each attendee will receive two tokens for complimentary wine. Tickets may be purchased through Feb. 13 and will not be available for purchase at the door. Proceeds benefit the Lower Macungie Library.
