Winter has officially arrived and brought our first winter storm. Hope everyone loves the snow!

All township schools will dismiss early Jan. 29. Salisbury Middle School and Salisbury High School will both dismiss 12:15 p.m. while Harry S Truman and Western Salisbury elementary schools will dismiss 1 p.m.

There will be an operations committee meeting 7 p.m. Feb. 1 in the administration building.

The HST PTO will have its monthly meeting and dinner out Feb. 1. Details to follow for those in the PTO.

HST third graders will invite their families to lunch Feb. 8. Please look for information to be sent home with your third grader.

There will be a school board meeting 7:30 p.m. Feb. 10 in the administration building.

Feb. 12 will be a district makeup day and all schools will be open. Township schools will be closed Feb. 15 for the observance of Presidents Day.

The Salisbury Wrestling Booster Club invites Salisbury residents to attend the second annual comedy show Feb. 20 at the Fearless Fire Company, 1221-1229 S. Fourth St., Allentown. The schedule for the evening includes refreshments and socializing 7 to 8:30 p.m., 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. comedy show with three comedians and continued socializing 10:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Feb. 21. Chances available for a 50/50 and basket raffle. All profits directly benefit all levels of Salisbury wrestling. A parent scheduling night will be held 6:30 p.m. Feb. 9 at the high school.

The township is running a bus trip to Mohonk Mountain Estate in New Paltz, N.Y. June 11. The trip includes a tour of the estate and lunch, as well as a tour of Adair Vineyards.
