Better safe! The Germansville Fire Company has reflective house numbers for sale again this year.
When emergency crews need to find your home will they be able to find it quickly? Let’s hope so.
Make sure your address numbers are visible and readable from the street.
Residents may purchase reflective house numbers from the fire company. The numbers are big, bright and easy to read.
To order, call the fire company at 610-767-7757.
Leave your name, address and phone number and someone will call back.
Here’s another worthy safety tip expressed by the Germansville Fire Company: “Wipers on, lights on!
Be safe and help other motorists see you during inclement weather.
Better yet, make it a habit to turn on your headlights after you buckle up every time you drive.
With the fire company in mind, the public is always welcome to attend any fire company meeting 7:30-8:30 p.m. the first Monday of the month.
Also, the fire company’s facilities are available to rent and may by reserved by calling Doris Koenig at 610-767-3778.
According to Doris, the upstairs hall is air-conditioned, handicapped assessable and can accommodate up to 350 people.
It is ideal for weddings and banquets, whereas the downstairs hall is perfect for parties, such as birthdays, anniversary, and graduation, etc.
“When renting the downstairs social hall, you can bring in your own food and make use of the kitchen,” Doris explained. “Upstairs is different. There, the food is already prepared.”
