The Woman’s Club of Whitehall has named Emily Falkenstein Girl of the Month for December 2015.

Falkenstein, a resident of Whitehall, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Falkenstein.

She earned high honor roll all marking periods at Whitehall High School.

She is a member of the high school’s chorale, concert choir and gospel choir. She participated in the spring musical for four years.

Falkenstein is a member of German Club, Model UN and Popular Music Club.

She has been named to National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and Science National Honor Society. She was a medal winner in the LVIAC Model UN Resolution.

She participates in Catasauqua Area Showcase Theatre and is a volunteer with Miracle League of the Lehigh Valley.

Falkenstein plans to pursue a degree in either secondary English education or theater business.
