State Police Troop M Fogelsville say a 33-year-old man reported a concrete block was thrown through the sliding glass door on his barn on Brobst Hill Road, Lynn Township.

This incident, which occurred sometime between 1-10 a.m. Jan. 6, remains under investigation.

State Police Troop M Fogelsville allege Nichole Marie Bartik, 23, and a 25-year-old man, both of New Tripoli, engaged into a verbal altercation between 1-1:03 a.m. Dec. 20, 2015, at 7131 Herber Road, Lowhill Township.

As the altercation ensued, Bartik allegedly struck the man several times in his face resulting in minor injury, police say.

Police say a 26-year-old man attempted to separate Bartik and the 25-year-old man when he was allegedly struck in the face by Bartik.

Bartik was taken into custody for simple assault, police say.

Charges were filed with District Judge Rod Beck, Slatington.
