LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Lindsay Bauer

Q. What grade are you currently in?

A. I’m currently a senior at Salisbury High School.

Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?

A. My favorite subject is definitely science. I plan to major in health sciences, just because I love learning about the body, how things work, what may go wrong and how we can fix it.

Q. What extracurricular activities are you involved in, both in and out of school?

A. I’m a member of Students Against Destructive Decisions, Key Club, Environmental Club and German Club. I have run cross country, played field hockey and also played softball. But now, I focus on my main sports, which are basketball and track and field.

Q. What is your next goal after high school?

A. I’ll be attending Rider University in the fall on an academic/athletic scholarship. They recruited me to be on their women’s track and field team. So my goal is to continue my success both in the classroom and on the track.

Q. What would you say your biggest challenge was so far?

A. My biggest challenge so far has probably been balancing school and year round sports. There have definitely been some late nights, but I wouldn’t trade my busyness for anything. It’s always fun.

Q. What do you want to be remembered for?

A. I definitely want to be remembered as an athlete, because I’d like to think I’ve left my mark on the sports scene here at Salisbury. I’d also like to be remembered for just being a fun and friendly classmate.

Q. Who is in your family?

A. My mom, Debbie, dad, Keith and little brother, Lucas.

Q. Do you have someone you look up to?

A. Without a doubt my parents. They raised me right, never let me give up and I credit everything I’ve accomplished academically and athletically to their love and support.

Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?

A. Just enjoy everything – it’ll all go by in the blink of an eye. So have fun, but don’t cry because it’s over – smile because it happened.
