State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Alejandro Almanzar, 33, of Reading, was arrested for driving under the influence after allegedly failing a field sobriety test after he was seen seated in his vehicle 2:51 a.m. Nov. 29, 2015, while it was facing east in the westbound lanes of I-78, Weisenberg Township.

Charges were filed with District Judge Rod Beck, Slatington.

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Joseph P. Collins, 28, of Lansford, was driving a 2004 Dodge Caravan southbound on Route 309, Lynn Township, when it struck a tree just after midnight Dec. 27, 2015.

Collins, who police say was wearing his seat belt, sustained a minor injury and transported by Cetronia Ambulance Corps to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He was cited with a traffic violation, police say.

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Jennifer Fae Whitney of 7216 Decatur St., Lynn Township, reported a 6-foot section of her metal fence was knocked down and bent sometime between 6:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Dec. 1, 2015.

State Police Troop M Bethlehem say a 41-year-old man reported the passenger side door of his vehicle was damaged after it was hit with mud and stones sometime between 5 p.m. Dec. 18, 2015, and 10:30 a.m. the next day while it was parked at 7329 E. Hillcrest Lane, Washington Township.
