EHS STUDENT HONORED

Colleen Grablick, of Macungie, recently was named the Emmaus Woman’s Club’s “Girl of the Month” for October.

Grablick was recognized for her work in journalism.

Current editor-in-chief for the school newspaper The Stinger, Grablick writes the Emmaus High School column for the East Penn Press.

She has won several journalism and writing awards and was a Penn State Writing Competition finalist in 2015.

She is a member of the track team, competing in cross country, winter and spring track and is a member of the Emmaus High School orchestra, Key Club, National Honor Society and National Spanish Honor Society.

“I hope to be accepted into Northwestern University or George Washington University and study journalism,” Grablick said.

She is a daughter of Mike and Mary Grablick.
