SALISBURY POLICE
The Salisbury Township Police Department is investigating a recent complaint of open lewdness.
At approximately 1:30 p.m. Dec. 15, a walker on South Mountain in Salisbury Township (Wildlands Conservancy South Mountain Preserve) reported a white male in his 30s, under 6 feet tall, with a thin build, crossed paths with the walker and started masturbating in her presence. He was wearing a puffy winter coat and a winter hat. The caller fled the area and called police.
The Salisbury Township Police Department is actively investigating this event and would like to reinforce the safety and well-being of all hikers, walkers and runners in Salisbury parks. Police are requesting anyone utilizing a park to know your location, have a cellphone to call for help if needed, be able to describe your car and keep a sense of heightened awareness of surroundings.

A resident in the 1600 block of Broadway reported 8:30 a.m. Dec. 4 unknown actors removed a black iPhone 4s, two iPods and a wallet containing a social security card and driver’s license. The home is close to a bus stop. There was no forced entry. The signal from the cellphone was pinging by Montgomery Street and Emmaus Avenue. This incident is currently under investigation by Salisbury police.
A resident in Meadowbrook Circle reported 2:30 p.m. Dec. 5 two men were going door-to-door from competing power companies. Police told the men to leave as they did not have a permit to solicit.
Jeremy Boyer, 30, of Kempton, was given a summary citation for retail theft after allegedly removing a Kenneth Cole watch and Under Armor boxers valued at $63 from BonTon, 3300 Lehigh St. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.
Daiho Guerra, 27, of Allentown, was charged with retail theft after allegedly attempting to remove a Polo jacket valued at $345 from BonTon, 3300 Lehigh St., 1:44 p.m. Dec. 7. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.
Victoria’s Secret, 3300 Lehigh St., reported 10:04 p.m. Dec. 14 the theft of four sweatshirts from the store valued at $125.
The Arts Academy Charter Middle School, 1610 E. Emmaus Ave., reported 10 a.m. Dec. 11 inappropriate graffiti in the bathroom of the school. The school and police are investigating further.
An unknown actor purchased Beats headphones valued at $148 at Game Stop, 3300 Lehigh St., 7:02 p.m. Dec. 15 with an unauthorized card. The same card was used to purchase Jordan shoes at Foot Locker, 3300 Lehigh St., valued at $220.
Jaquan Harrell, 22, of Allentown and Wanda Lugo, 37, of Freemansburg, were charged with summary disorderly conduct after a road rage incident at a four-way stop in the Lehigh Valley Health Network complex 7:55 a.m. Dec. 14.
Two 14-year-old juvenile girls were given summary citations for disorderly conduct after resisting arrest 4:42 p.m. Dec. 16.
A customer shopping at Ross Dress for Less, 3300 Lehigh St., reported 4:48 p.m. Dec. 15 having an iPhone in her pocket while shopping and finding it missing when exiting the store.
A resident in the 700 block of East Tioga Street reported 5 p.m. Dec. 16 an unknown actor removed a Christmas flag valued at $15 from the outside of the home.
A resident in the 1200 block of Lehigh Avenue reported 9 p.m. Dec. 15 an unknown actor shot a BB gun pellet through the window of the home.
Thomas Gebhardt, 36, no known address, was charged with six additional counts of receiving stolen property following the investigation of Christmas inflatables thefts in Salisbury.
