A 17-year-old female and a 16-year-old female, both of Macungie, were arrested and charged with retail theft after they removed multiple items from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:51 a.m. Nov. 28. The teens were released to their parents.

Denny Kesack, 33, of Allentown, allegedly attempted to remove $650 worth of merchandise from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 4:55 p.m. Dec. 1. According to police, Kesack allegedly placed items inside of a large tote and attempted to leave the store without paying.

A 49-year-old male, of New York, is suspected of retail theft after he allegedly attempted to remove $332.86 of groceries from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 4:42 p.m. Nov. 24. Police said the man fled leaving multiple juveniles behind at the store.

A 57-year-old Allentown male, a 55-year-old Allentown male and a 29-year-old female of Whitehall are charged with retail theft after they placed multiple items in a shopping cart while at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:54 p.m. Dec. 6. The three fled after they were stopped by store personnel. Charges were filed through District Court 31-3-02.

Reported by a resident in the 3200 block of Sequoia Drive, Lower Macungie Township, multiple items were removed from a vehicle between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. Dec. 6. The investigation continues.

Reported by a resident in the 6800 block of Hunt Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors entered a vehicle and removed a purse and its contents between 10 p.m. Dec 12 and 8 a.m. Dec. 13. Anyone with information on this incident may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Reported by a resident of the 5600 block of Covenant Court, Lower Macungie Township, 1:50 p.m. Dec. 1, unknown actors used the resident’s information to open various credit card accounts and make purchases.

Reported by a resident in the 1000 block of South Hillview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors used the resident’s credit card account to purchase online multiple items from Walmart and Cabela’s between 8 a.m. Oct. 26 and 11:59 p.m. Oct. 28. The total value of the merchandise charged is $1,214.58. The investigation continues.

Maxwell Farnsworth, 23, of Macungie, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol and marijuana after a traffic stop along West Penn Drive at North Main Street, Alburtis Borough, 3:07 a.m. Nov. 13. According to police, Farnswoth also allegedly had a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

A 16-year-old female, of Breinigsville, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop along State Route 222 southbound south of Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:51 a.m. Dec. 7. Police say the teen showed signs of intoxication at the time. She was processed and released to the custody of a guardian.

Linsey Nicole Fenstermacher, 37, of Mertztown, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, methamphetamine and associated drug paraphernalia after police stopped a vehicle in which Fenstermacher allegedly was the front seat passenger along Hamilton Boulevard at Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:24 a.m. Dec. 8. Charges were filed through District Court 31-3-02.

A resident of Lower Macungie Township reported Nov. 24 a caller advised the resident she won a lottery and, to claim a $2.5 million prize and a 2015 Mercedes Benz vehicle, the resident needed to send $2,000 to a person in Illinois. The township resident sent a FedEx overnight package containing the money. The police department in Illinois located a suspect and the money Nov. 25.

Reported by a resident in the 4700 block of Yorkshire Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors cut Christmas lights outside the residence at approximately 3 a.m. Dec. 12.

Reported by a resident in the 4700 block of Somerset Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors threw eggs and toilet paper at a residence at approximately 2:30 a.m. Dec. 12.
