Magic moments! Whether you have been naughty or nice, all are invited to the Breakfast with Santa, 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 19 at the Germansville Fire Company, 6011 Memorial Road, Germansville.

This all-you-can-eat breakfast includes French toast, scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, pancakes, creamed chipped beef, hash browns, toast, tea, coffee and juice.

Pictures with Santa will be available for those who are interested.

Parents, if you have specialized gifts that you would like Santa to give to your child, you may call the number below and leave a message.

One dish wonder! Germansville Fire Company is once again selling its famous potato filling just in time for Christmas.

Place orders no later than Dec. 21 by calling Rich Witt at 610-657-5848.

Orders are sold by the pound, which serves approximately two people.

Bring your own container for the filling between 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Dec. 24, in the upstairs kitchen of the fire company.

The fire company will not be making bacon dressing at this time but may sell it again at Easter.

All around town! Heidelberg Church members will be packing Christmas baskets at 6 p.m. Dec. 23 for the less fortunate in our area.

To lend a hand by packing boxes, or if you know of a neighboring family or individual in need, contact Joan Hein at 610-767-6557.

That’s the spirit! Heidelberg Union Church will hold a Christmas Eve service at 8 p.m. The UCC service will be at 11 p.m. All are welcome.

A musical prelude will begin at 7:40 p.m, followed by the service of worship.

Special inspirational music will be provided, with traditional scripture lessons read.

The union service will conclude with the lighting of candles.

Refreshments will be served between services for those attending both.

If inclement weather results in the need to cancel worship services or Sunday School at Heidelberg Church, tune in to radio station WAEB 790 AM or WFMZ TV 69.

Plan ahead! Heidelberg Union Church is having a pork and sauerkraut dinner Jan. 1, 2016, in fellowship hall. The public is invited.

Limited seating times are 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.

In addition to delicious pork and sauerkraut, the meal includes applesauce, bread, beverage and homemade deserts.

Spread the word! On Jan. 5, 2016, Heidelberg Association for Retired Persons, better known as H.A.R.P., will meet at 11 a.m. in fellowship hall.

All retirees from the community are welcome.

Remember, you do not have to be a Heidelberg Church member to attend. Why not come in from the cold and enjoy a relaxing afternoon of games.

Bring a covered dish to share, along with your favorite board game, cards or anything you would like to play.
