The Lower Macungie Middle School Student Council is sponsoring the annual “Be an Angel” collection through Dec. 16. Students and community members are asked to donate personal care items (soap, shampoo, deodorant, hand lotion, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hair brushes, combs and shaving cream), baby items (diapers, wipes, bottles and lotions) and children’s items (crayons, coloring books, puzzles, markers, books and small toys). These items will then be distributed at local soup kitchens on Christmas Day to those in need.
