U.L. Historical Society selling cookies and candy toys
Union Lutheran Church, 5500 Route 873, Schnecksville, will be having a Breakfast with Santa 10 a.m.-noon on Dec. 5. There is a fee to attend.

Upper Lehigh Historical Society, Route 873, across from Weis Market, Schnecksville, will have a cookie and clear toy candy sale at the Schneck House noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 13.
Cookies, from old- fashioned recipes, will be sold by the pound.
The clear toy candy will be available as lollipops or free-standing pieces.
The candy will be made by member Suzanne Wainwright-Evans using molds from her collection of about 500 interesting pieces.
The historical society welcomes new members and volunteers to help with care of the Schneck House, its grounds, fundraisers, and educational programs.

The Auxiliary of Northern Valley EMS, 2375 Levans Road, Ormrod, will host a holiday shop 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Dec. 6.
Many vendors will be there with products suitable for gift-giving.

Parkland High School Chorale will present a holiday concert at Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, 7 p.m. Dec. 13.
The program in the beautifully decorated sanctuary is a lovely way to celebrate the season.
Refreshments will be served after the concert.
A free-will offering will be accepted.

The children of St. John’s United Church of Christ Sunday School, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laury’s Station, will present their annual Christmas musical on Dec. 12.
A pot-luck dinner begins at 6 p.m., and the show goes on at 7 p.m. Afterward, everyone is invited to gather for dessert in the social hall.
This year’s program, “A Tree Lot Christmas,” has plenty of songs for the children to perform, and the audience can sing along, too.

Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, will host an Advent celebration 11:45 a.m. Dec. 6.
Brunch, consisting of three different stratas, plus muffins, breads, fruit and beverages will be served.
Visitors are welcome for the afternoon of food, fellowship and fun. There will be an opportunity to make a holiday craft.
