The Alburtis Tavern, 106 S. Main St., Alburtis, was open for business Nov. 26 with a Thanksgiving buffet packed with a wide variety of delicious food.
Owner Terry Bender and his staff prepared roasted turkey, honey glazed ham, broiled flouder, baked ziti, mashed potatoes, candied sweet potatoes, bread filling, salad, cranberry sauce, vegetables, rolls and a dessert station.
Bender said he expected to serve approximately 1,000 meals for the holiday.
