We have a few more weeks before Christmas but in the holiday rush, remember the reason for the season and keep an eye on your elderly neighbors.
An invite to your house for holiday cookies and coffee may be just the ticket to lift the spirits of the lonely.

Living Stone Fellowship, 6925 Flint Hill Road, will have a question-and-answer time with soup, 6:45 p.m. on Dec. 3, with Rabbi Glenn Blank from Beit Simcha.
The rabbi will be teaching on the history of Israel.
There will be fellowship, soup and Christmas desserts. Everyone is welcome to attend.
On Dec. 6 at 10 a.m., Living Stone will have a memorial service for the late Pastor Timothy Helms.
Guest speaker for the service will be Pastor Tony Adamo from Kingdom Life Family Center.

The Lynn Heidelberg Historical Society is having its annual holiday open house at the old New Tripoli Bank from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Dec. 5.
The society’s collection of memorabilia will be on display and there will be books, maps and Ontelaunee Park ornaments available for purchase.

The church will present its Sounds of the Season Christmas program 6:30-8 p.m. Dec. 13.
Ebenezer’s Clothing Closet will be open from 6-8 p.m. Dec. 10 and from 10 a.m.-noon Dec. 12.
