The Alburtis Tavern, 106 S. Main St., Alburtis, was open for business Nov. 26 with a Thanksgiving buffet packed with a wide variety of food.
Owner Terry Bender and his staff offered roasted turkey, honey glazed ham, broiled flounder, baked ziti, mashed potatoes, candied sweet potatoes, bread filling, salad, cranberry sauce, vegetables, rolls and a dessert station, Bender expected to serve approximately 1,000 meals.
