The Kutztown University Department of Art Education and Crafts recently announced Emmaus High School art teacher Tracy Maley received the annual Outstanding Artist Teacher Award.

Each year at the annual Fall Art Education Conference, department members recognize and honor art educators who have made a difference in the field of art education. The award is presented to someone who has shown accomplishment as both a practicing artist and art teacher.

Kutztown University is honored to recognize Mrs. Maley for her efforts to advance the field by her commitment to her art and to art education.

Maley accepted the award at a luncheon Nov. 20.
