Allentown AARP Chapter #5415 will meet noon at St. Timothy’s Church, 140 S. Ott St., Allentown. A membership recognition holiday lunch for 2015 paid members will be held noon to 1 p.m. Doors will open to the public 1 p.m. with entertainment provided by Lehigh Valley Pops Orchestra. Emmaus Main Street Partners “Old-Fashioned Christmas” in Emmaus. Winning photos of the Emmaus Arts Commission second annual photo contest will be shown 6:15 to 8 p.m. at the Community Center for the Arts, second floor of Borough Hall, Emmaus.

Grace Community Church, Minesite Road, Allentown, “Carol and Candlelight” concert of Advent and Christmas music performed by students from the Nyack College School of Music, Nyack, N.Y., 7 p.m. The concert is open to all with no admission fee. A freewill offering will be taken to defray the cost of the tour.
