“A Charlie Brown Christmas” will run Dec. 4 and 5 in Masson Auditorium at Allentown Central Catholic High School, 301 N. Fourth St., Allentown. Showtime will be 7:30 p.m. both days; doors open 7 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the door.

“A Charlie Brown Christmas” is co-directed by junior Claudio Rosado and senior Erin Neupauer; stage manager is junior Alex Sharkey.

Winter sports teams are beginning to get ready for their seasons. Sports include basketball, swimming and diving and wrestling.

This time in December is also when Central Catholic holds its annual 40 Hours retreat which takes place Dec. 10 and 11. The event includes Mass, guest speakers and Eucharistic adoration. It is one of the spiritual highlights of the year.

The BFF Mercy Christmas Pageant will be held noon to 3 p.m. Dec. 10 at Mercy Special Learning Center.

There will be a 1 p.m. dismissal Dec. 11.

The UNICEF Christmas party will be held 1 to 3 pm. Dec. 18 in Masson Auditorium.

The Christmas concert will be held 5 p.m. Dec. 19.
