The Ancient Oak Women’s Organization meets 7:30 p.m. Dec. 2 for a “cut throat Santa re-gift” event as well as a six-dozen cookie exchange. Each member will donate $10 to help a needy family in the Ancient Oak development.
The holiday house decorating contest will be held 7 p.m. Dec. 16. The Ancient Oak Women’s Organization wishes a happy holiday season to the Ancient Oak community.
With all the holidays and the gift giving going on in December, it is important to remember the things that are really important. Go to the Lower Macungie Library 6 p.m. Dec. 8 to hear Dan Bonner’s extraordinary story about the organ transplants that saved his life. He will be joined by a nurse and transplant coordinator who will not only share stories she has seen, but give an interesting “behind the scenes” talk about how the transplant process works.
For more information, contact Lower Macungie Library at 610-966-6864 or visit the website at www.lowermaclib.org. Registration in advance is requested.
